Summary
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Operative to join our team. This role involves carrying out general maintenance across our factory, ensuring machines and equipment are cleaned, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. You will be responsible for troubleshooting minor issues, performing basic repairs, and assisting with overall site upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of factory machinery and equipment
Identify and troubleshoot minor faults, escalating major issues as needed
Carry out basic repairs to factory fixtures, fittings, and workspaces
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Assist in general site maintenance, fixing workstations
Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain smooth factory operations
Monitor and replenish maintenance supplies
What We’re Looking For:
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
Proactive problem-solver with good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
A flexible and hands-on approach to work
