Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced MET Technician to join a reputable accident repair group in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is a prime opportunity for an MET Technician looking to progress their career within a modern, well-equipped bodyshop. Duties of a MET Technician:

- Conduct removal and refitting of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles

- Complete repairs following manufacturer methods and repair standards

- Diagnose and replace damaged vehicle components as necessary

- Support Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) repairs and calibration

- Maintain accurate repair records and job documentation

- Ensure workshop cleanliness, safety compliance, and organisation

- Collaborate with the bodyshop team to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction

Requirements of a MET Technician:

- Proven experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician, or Vehicle Technician within a bodyshop environment

- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge

- Relevant qualifications (ATA, NVQ, IMI, or equivalent) preferred but not essential

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

- Full UK Driving Licence
