Summary

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Southend, Essex, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy and professional team. - Competitive basic salary up to £35,000 per annum, with a potential OTE of £50,000 based on performance

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00am – 1:00pm)

Duties:

- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on customer vehicles efficiently and to high standards

- Identify vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment accurately

- Explain repairs and vehicle issues clearly to customers, offering exceptional customer service

- Complete work within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards

- Adhere to health and safety requirements and company procedures

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a professional environment

- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Valid UK manual driving licence, with no more than 3 penalty points

- MOT tester certification is advantageous but not essential

- Strong customer service skills and professional appearance

- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop setting
