Summary

Working with Registered Practitioners and Consultants, you will assist in the smooth operation of theatres by performing delegated perioperative duties within a competency framework across Scrub, Anaesthetics, and Recovery. This role is ideal for an experienced theatre support worker or Assistant Practitioner aiming to advance their career in perioperative services. What you'll do Support safe, effective patient care in the perioperative pathway. Assist with theatre prep, patient positioning, and equipment checks. Work with the theatre team in Scrub, Anaesthetic, and Recovery areas. Maintain infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical governance. Support patient flow and theatre productivity. Escalate concerns and work within ATP role scope. Contribute to a multidisciplinary team. What you'll bring ATP qualification. Theatre skills in Scrub, Anaesthetics, and/or Recovery. Ability to work in a team and independently. Flexible, positive attitude. Warm, empathetic character. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Commitment to high standards of patient care.
