Summary

As a Specialist MRI + Rotational Radiographer, you will: Perform MRI scans, ensure patient safety, maintain equipment, and collaborate with medical staff. You will assess images for quality, assist in procedures, and provide patient care. Strong technical skills and attention to detail are essential. Have a BSC in diagnostic radiography or equivalent. Postgraduate qualification and/or high technical knowledge (desirable). 3+ years' MRI experience. Experienced in various MRI scans. Empathetic approach to patients and staff. Respectful to all individuals. Proactive and forward-thinking. Deliver high-quality service with compassion. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Skilled in MRI and another modality (CT, X-ray) with Siemens experience. Main duties: Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. Proficient in all equipment. Work with leading practitioners and equipment. Supervise and develop junior colleagues. Responsible for MRI safety per local rules. Work within IRMER and HCPC code of conduct. Participate in audits and Quality Assurance. Support Clinical Lead Radiographers. Ensure equipment safety and report faults. IV cannulation competency required. Contribute to policy updates. Comply with Ramsay Health policies. Maintain records per requirements. Participate in General x-ray. Join on-call CT rota (must attend within 1 hour).
