individual
who lives in their own home in Norwich
.
They experience the world in a unique way, shaped by
learning disabilities,
autism,
bipolar disorder,
communication difficulties, and
behaviours that can be perceived as challenging. These needs influence their daily life, but they are far more than their diagnosis.
They have a brilliant sense of humour and enjoy a wide range of activities including
sports, bike riding, puzzles, colouring, darts, wrestling, painting, games, and storytelling. Your
support
will help them access these interests safely,
confidently
, and consistently.

What Your Shift Will Involve
You will be providing high‑quality care,ensuring the individual receives attentive, personalised support tailored to their needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Meaningful activities — spending quality time together doing activities they enjoy, from sports and bike riding to puzzles, colouring, painting, games, and storytelling.
Community access — accompanying them on trips out, browsing shops, enjoying days in town, and supporting social interaction and wellbeing.
Household support — helping maintain a clean, organised home environment that supports comfort and independence.
Clear communication — communicating confidently in the way that suits them best, building trust and understanding.
Positive behaviour support — responding calmly and consistently to behaviours that may be perceived as challenging.
