Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-established specialist SEN school in Rugby to recruit dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants for September.
This setting supports pupils with a range of additional needs and provides a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist students with Autism (ASC), SEMH and other additional needs
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Support pupils both in and out of the classroom
- Help create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

- Experience working with children or young people
- Experience within education, care, support work, youth work, or similar environments
- A patient, resilient and caring approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
