Summary

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable

Plumber to carry out installation, maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding across residential and/or commercial properties. The successful candidate will have strong practical skills, good attention to detail, and a commitment to completing work safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipework.

Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and plumbing faults.

Install and maintain toilets, sinks, taps, showers, baths, and other sanitary fittings.

Carry out hot and cold water system repairs and installations.

Complete basic heating and associated plumbing works where appropriately qualified.

Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.

Identify faults and recommend appropriate solutions.

Work from plans, drawings, and specifications where required.

Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.

Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe.

Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles as required.

Complete job sheets, service reports, and records accurately.

Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and contractors.

Requirements

Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar maintenance role.

Relevant plumbing qualification or recognised trade experience.

Good knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.

Ability to diagnose problems and carry out effective repairs.

Competent use of plumbing tools and equipment.

Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship.

Good communication and customer-service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Reliable, punctual, and professional approach.

Full UK driving licence is desirable where travel between sites is required.

Relevant gas, heating, or other specialist qualifications are desirable where applicable.

Working Conditions

The role may involve working in confined spaces, lifting and carrying equipment, working at height, and working indoors or outdoors. Appropriate personal protective equipment and training will be provided where required.
