Pay Rates
✅ £15.50 per hour - Weekends
✅ £23.25 per hour - Bank Holidays
✅ £25.00 per Night Out
Schedule
Full-time | Monday to Friday | Ongoing Work
Mix of local and nationwide refrigerated deliveries
2-3 nights out per week (varies depending on route requirements)
The Role
The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced and reliable
Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join a busy refrigerated logistics operation based in Grimsby.
This role involves delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK using modern fridge trailers. You'll benefit from a mixture of local and long-distance runs, with regular overnight stays and consistent work throughout the year.

Requirements
✔ Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) experience
✔ Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Maximum 6 points (No DR, IN10 or DG endorsements)
✔ Fridge trailer experience preferred
✔ Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours & WTD regulations
✔ Flexible approach to overnight stays
Responsibilities
Delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses nationwide
Monitoring and maintaining load temperatures
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Reporting defects and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
Driving safely and in full compliance with transport legislation
