We pride ourselves on enabling our learners to meet their individual needs and aspirations and we deliver a learning experience that is unique, enjoyable and rewarding.About the RoleAs a Bursary Assistant, you will support the effective administration of the College’s bursary, childcare, and Adult Learner Support funds, ensuring applications are processed accurately and students are assessed against the relevant eligibility criteria. You will be responsible for recording agreed data on the College MIS system, processing BACS payments for weekly bursary awards, and maintaining accurate records of expenditure in line with funding body guidance and College financial regulations.The role will also involve liaising with students, tutors, Student Advisors, childcare providers, nurseries and childminders, as well as supporting Discretionary Support Funds Panel meetings by taking minutes, maintaining clear records of decisions, and following up agreed actions.You will also help prepare and distribute information, publicity, and associated forms relating to the funds, respond to enquiries from applicants, notify applicants and tutors of decisions, and prepare papers where appeals are required.How to ApplyIf you’re ready to join a Group that has the resources to develop the talents of both students and staff, you can find more information on this role and details on how to apply by visiting our dedicated recruitment microsite.
