Summary

Electrical Assembler

Location: Droitwich

Hours: 39 hours per week

Monday Thursday: 07:30 16:30

Friday: 08:00 13:00

Pay: £14.90-£15.48 per hour, depending on experience

Overtime: 1.5x Monday?Saturday | 2x Sundays

We?re looking for a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our growing team in Droitwich.

This is a hands-on role working on the assembly and wiring of high-spec industrial electrical equipment and control systems for the energy and power industries.

You?ll be involved in building quality electrical assemblies from technical drawings, installing and wiring components, preparing cables, and carrying out mechanical and electrical assembly work.

The Role

As an Electrical Assembler, you?ll be responsible for:

Assembling industrial electrical equipment and control systems from technical drawings and layout plans.

Installing and wiring electrical components including transformers, capacitors, relays, inductors, contactors and other control components.

Preparing cables through cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering and terminating.

Drilling and tapping backplates and installing trunking, DIN rails, busbars, manifolds and associated hardware.

Carrying out mechanical assembly and fitting work using a range of hand and power tools.

Following electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings accurately.

Performing continuity checks and basic electrical fault-finding.

Working closely with engineering and quality teams to identify and resolve build issues.

Maintaining high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and organisation.

Following all company Health & Safety and quality procedures.

What We?re Looking For

We?re interested in people with experience in electrical assembly, electrical fitting, industrial assembly, control systems or a similar hands-on engineering environment.

You?ll ideally have:

Previous experience in an electrical assembly or electrical fitting role.

The ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Good practical skills and confidence using hand tools, drills and electrical assembly equipment.

Experience with cable preparation, crimping and electrical termination is desirable.

A methodical and quality-focused approach to your work.

Good attention to detail and pride in producing a tidy, professional finish.

The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.

What We Offer

£14.90-£15.48 per hour, depending on experience

33 days holiday, including bank holidays, increasing with long service to 38 days.

5% employee / 4% employer pension contribution

Up to 10% discretionary annual bonus
