CARE THAT FEELS DIFFERENT
Home Care Worker | Love2Care Devon
Want a care job where you’re more than just a name on a rota?
At Love 2 Care Devon, we believe great care starts with great people — and great people deserve to feel valued, supported and listened to.
We’re looking for kind, reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our small, friendly team and make a genuine difference to the lives of people in their own homes. We are interest in Part-time & Full-time workers.
Why Love 2 Care?
We don't want you rushing from one person to the next, wondering who you'll be seeing that day.
We believe in continuity of care — getting to know the people you support, building genuine relationships and becoming a familiar, trusted face in their lives.
And we believe that looking after our team matters just as much as looking after our clients.
Here’s what you can expect from us:
Paid shift pay – you’re paid for your shift, not just the time spent providing care.
Your birthday off! – an extra day of annual leave to enjoy your special day.
A predictable Week 1 / Week 2 shift pattern – your working pattern is agreed with you, helping you plan your life outside work.
Shifts are localised to Paignton OR Torquay meaning no huge drives between visits. Mileage is paid at 40p per mile.
Client continuity – build meaningful relationships with the people you care for rather than constantly meeting new clients.
Private healthcare scheme – because your health and wellbeing matter to us too.
A small management team – no feeling like you're just a number. Our managers know our staff and offer personalised, accessible support when you need it.
On-site learning & development – want to grow, gain confidence or develop your career? We’ll support you. Our own training environment means opportunities to learn are right on your doorstep.
What will you be doing?
As a Home Care Worker, you’ll support people to live safely, independently and confidently in their own homes.
Your role may include:
Providing personal care with dignity, compassion and respect
Supporting with mobility and daily living activities
Preparing meals and assisting with medication
Supporting clients to maintain their independence
Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
Helping with light household tasks
Following individual care plans and recording care accurately
Recognising and reporting changes in a person's health or wellbeing
Communicating effectively with clients, families and colleagues
Supporting clients to attend appointments or social activities when required
But more importantly, you’ll be helping someone feel safe, valued and cared for in their own home.
Who are we looking for?
You don't need to have years of experience to be brilliant at care.
We're looking for people who are:
Compassionate and genuinely care about people
Reliable and trustworthy
Patient, kind and respectful
Confident communicating with others
Comfortable working independently
Positive and willing to learn
Able to use basic IT systems for care records
Able to drive and have access to a suitable vehicle
Previous care experience is desirable, but the right attitude matters just as much as experience.
Could this be the care job you've been looking for?
