Summary
Titan Recruitment Solutions Bristol are currently recruiting for reliable and customer-focused Drivers' Mates / Delivery Porters to join a busy delivery operation based in Avonmouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who enjoy working as part of a team, are physically fit and take pride in providing excellent customer service.
As a Drivers' Mate / Delivery Porter, you will work alongside a driver as part of a two-person delivery team, assisting with deliveries to customers' homes.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the driver with deliveries to customers' homes.
Loading and unloading goods.
Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting.
Providing a friendly and professional service to customers.
Following health & safety and manual handling procedures.
Working effectively as part of a two-person delivery team.
Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely.
Representing the company professionally at customer locations.
Shift Availability:
Monday to Friday:
06:00am – 5:00pm (approximate finishing time)
10:30am – 9:30pm (approximate finishing time)
Saturday:
06:00am – 5:00pm (approximate finishing time)
07:00am – 6:00pm (approximate finishing time)
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, professional and reliable approach.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Flexible with working hours and finish times.
Own transport is essential due to the location and limited public transport.
Previous delivery, warehouse or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential.
Important Information:
The induction includes manual handling and health & safety training.
Induction hours will be paid upon successful completion of 3 working shifts.
Please be aware that random drug and alcohol testing may take place as part of the role.
