Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Physiotherapy Rotation at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT).
Posts available:
Permanent, full-time posts on our North Rotation (Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex)
Permanent/Fixed term, full-time post on our East Rotation (Brighton and Hove and Lewes)
We welcome applications from established Band 5 Physiotherapists and from recently graduated Physiotherapists. We will accept applicants who have completed their studies with HCPC registration pending, however, we will not be accepting applications from those who have not yet completed their studies.
This post will be advertised internally for the first 10 days, followed by externally until adequate applicant numbers are reached. Rotational posts attract high numbers of applicants, and it is likely that this advert will close before the documented closing date. We recommend that you apply early to avoid disappointment.
You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuingprofessional development toassistin your progression. The rotations enable Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles.
Rotations available on our North Rotation include:
• Musculoskeletal Outpatients
• Community Therapy Team
• Intermediate Care Units (InpatientRehabilitation)
• Stroke Rehabilitation (Inpatient)
• Paediatrics
Rotations available on our East Rotation include:
• Musculoskeletal Outpatients
• Community Therapy Team
• Sussex Rehab Centre (Amputee Rehab)
• Falls and Fracture Prevention
• Intermediate Care Units (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
• Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team
• Home First
• In Reach
Please note that you will need to be able to drive with a full UK licencefor home visits.
Hours of work for full time staff are 37.5hrs per week. Hours will primarily fall within 08:00 and 17:00 with the potential to work the hours in different arrangements in some rotations.SCFTremainscommitted to flexible working policies and aims to help individuals achieve a strong work/life balance.

Rotations are 6 months in length in the majority of cases.
If this is your first Band 5 post since graduating, you will be invited to take part in our preceptorship programme. The preceptorship is a structured scheme lasting 12 months, which aims:

• To build confidence and competence
• To help you on your way to settling in well to your new career with SCFT
• To facilitate your journey to a fully autonomous practitioner.
• The programme will include a variety of trainings, watched assessments, and opportunities to network and learn throughout your first year in employment.
