Pump Engineer Location: London

Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm Some on call

Pump Engineer – Drainage & Wastewater Services We are looking for an experienced Pump Engineer to join our growing drainage and wastewater team across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of pumping systems within the drainage industry.

Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will attend both planned and reactive jobs for commercial, industrial, and residential clients, ensuring pumping equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, maintain, repair, and install sewage and drainage pump systems.

- Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical issues on pumping equipment.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown call-outs.

- Inspect pump stations, lifting stations, and associated drainage equipment.

- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.

- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on site.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Pump Engineer within the drainage or wastewater industry.

- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

- Experience working on sewage pumps, dirty water pumps, lifting stations, and control panels.

- Full UK driving licence.

- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

- Good communication and customer service skills.
