Summary

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles

- Work on mechanical systems including suspension, brakes, steering, and exhausts

- Perform diagnostic checks using electronic diagnostic tools

- Service and repair hybrid and electric vehicles (training provided if required)

- Fit manufacturer-approved accessories and upgrades

- Complete job cards and service documentation accurately

- Maintain high standards of customer service and collaborate effectively within the workshop team

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

- Full UK driving licence

- MOT testing licence (desirable, but not essential)

- Hybrid or EV qualification (advantageous but not essential; full training provided)

- Proactive attitude with a focus on quality and efficiency
