Summary

LGV C+E Drivers (HGV Class 1) – Stoke-on-Trent

Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST4)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £44,177 + Unsocial Hours Shift Premium

Shifts: Monday to Friday (Start times between 02:00–04:00)

About the Role

Working for an award-winning leader in supply chain logistics, is looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with a market leader, working on a well-established retail contract.

Key Responsibilities

- Monday to Friday working pattern with early morning starts (02:00–04:00)

- Carrying out a mix of:

- Retail store deliveries

- Trunking

- Salvage collections

- Shunting duties

- Operating double decker and curtainside trailers

- Ensuring full compliance with:

- Drivers’ Hours regulations

- Working Time Directive

- Health & safety standards

- Highway Code and road safety regulations

- Maintaining safe and efficient driving practices at all times

What We’re Looking For

- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

- Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

- Minimum 6 months commercial Class 1 driving experience

- Willingness to undertake occasional nights out

- Comfortable with manual handling (roll cages)

- Ideally local to Stoke-on-Trent
