Summary
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides education for secondary-aged students and is looking for a confident and adaptable individual who can maintain a positive learning environment.
The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for day-to-day or long-term roles from September, providing general cover across different subject departments throughout KS3 and KS4. The successful Cover Supervisor will be expected to deliver pre-prepared work, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- A relevant qualification or degree is desirable
- Experience working with students across KS3 and KS4
- Experience providing classroom or general cover within a secondary school
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Strong communication skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working across different subjects
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
- CPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
