This temporary driving role involves local drops, multi-drop work and deliveries to retail stores.About the companyBased in North Ferriby, the company is an independent, family-owned wine merchant serving customers through wholesale and retail operations. Its work includes sourcing and supplying wines from producers across the world, supported by logistics, warehousing and delivery activity from its Yorkshire base.The role• Complete local delivery routes safely and efficiently• Carry out multi-drop deliveries, generally involving fewer than 10 drops• Deliver orders to retail stores and other local destinations• Load, check and secure goods before departure• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery where required• Provide professional and courteous service at each delivery point• Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues promptly• Follow all relevant road safety, transport and company proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid licence to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle• Previous delivery driving experience is preferred• Experience of local drops and multi-drop delivery work• Familiarity with retail store deliveries• Good knowledge of local roads and routes• Reliable, punctual and organised• Physically able to handle delivery-related duties• Professional attitude and good customer service skillsBenefits• £14 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Temporary daytime work• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for temporary daytime work in North Ferriby, apply today.
