Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Nuneaton£13.50 per hour | Monday-Friday | 06:00-14:00 | Temp to PermWorkchain are recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy and well-established chemical logistics operation based in Nuneaton.This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident forklift driver looking for a long-term role with the guarantee of securing a permanent position.You’ll be joining a fast-paced operation handling and distributing chemicals and specialist products for customers across a range of industries. The role is varied, hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment where no two days are quite the same.About the RoleAs a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you’ll play an important part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly.Your responsibilities will include:Operating a Counterbalance Forklift throughout the warehouse and yardLoading and unloading vehiclesMoving and positioning chemical products safely and efficientlyPutting stock away and preparing products for dispatchSupporting the wider warehouse teamWorking at pace to keep goods moving efficientlyFollowing all site procedures and safety requirementsSafety First – Chemicals EnvironmentBecause you’ll be working with chemical products, health and safety is absolutely key.We’re looking for someone who takes procedures seriously, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of working safely around potentially hazardous products.However, this is also a fast-paced operation, so you need to be a confident, capable forklift driver who can work efficiently and confidently while maintaining high safety standards.What We're Looking ForNationally accredited Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essentialLicence must have been issued within the last 3 years, OR you must have completed a recognised refresher within the last 3 yearsPrevious Counterbalance experienceConfident operating a forklift in a busy environmentStrong awareness of health & safetyReliable, hardworking and punctualAble to follow procedures and instructions carefullyComfortable working around chemical productsThe DetailsPay: £13.50 per hourHours: Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00Contract: Temp to PermRole: Counterbalance Forklift DriverWhy Apply??
