Join Our Finance Team at The Compleat Food Group!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at our Nottingham site.
As part of our Finance team, you'll play an important role in ensuring our suppliers are paid accurately and on time. Working
collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, you'll support the processing of invoices, resolve account queries, and
help maintain efficient financial controls across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their
finance experience within a successful food manufacturing business.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm, Friday 8.30am – 4pm.
Your Duties Will Include:
* Managing the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices across the business.
* Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment queries efficiently.
* Matching purchase orders, goods received notes and invoices while investigating and resolving discrepancies.
* Preparing supplier payment runs and reconciling accounts to ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
* Monitoring creditor balances, maintaining supplier records and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable
function.
* Contributing to financial controls, audit activities and continuous improvement projects that enhance the efficiency of our
processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a finance or Accounts Payable environment, with a good understanding of purchase ledger processes.
* Strong numerical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to process high volumes of invoices accurately.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications and finance or ERP systems.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a professional and confidential approach to handling financial
information.
