Summary

Are you from a construction and stores management background? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Construction Storeman to join our team. This is a long term role and offers the opportunity to contribute your logistical expertise to the efficient running of a busy construction site.

Role: Storeman/ Materials Controller

Location: Littlehampton

Hourly rate: £17 - £18 per hour

Contract: Temp - long term

Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.

Maintain accurate stock records and manage inventory control.

Ensure the safe and secure storage of tools, materials, and machinery.

Assist in the ordering and procurement of stock as required.

Manage the delivery and collection of supplies to and from the site.

Support the wider construction team by ensuring timely availability of materials.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the store.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a stores or logistics role, preferably with a military background.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of construction materials and equipment would be an advantage.

A proactive and flexible approach to work.
