Summary

Customer Service Representative - Radcliffe

The Best Connection Bolton is delighted to recruit on behalf of our long-standing client, a

leading logistics company that supplies one of the UK's largest supermarket chains!

We are looking for an experienced

Customer Service Representative to join their friendly and fast-paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy logistics operation, liaising with multiple sites, stores, and customers to ensure a first-class service is delivered at all times.

️ Role & Responsibilities:

✅ Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and internal systems ☎️

✅ Communicate with various customer sites and departments to resolve queries efficiently

✅ Handle customer issues, complaints, and service challenges professionally and effectively

✅ Investigate problems, identify solutions, and take ownership of issues through to resolution

✅ Liaise with stores, transport teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations

✅ Accurately document customer interactions, queries, and resolutions

✅ Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems with a high level of accuracy

✅ Carry out data input and administrative tasks whilst ensuring attention to detail at all times

✅ Follow company policies, procedures, and office code of conduct standards professionally ✔️

✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience

⏰ Hours & Flexibility:

️ Training: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (first 2 weeks)

️ Shift Pattern: To be discussed

✅ Must be flexible to work across 7 days, including weekends, evenings, and holidays where required

Enhanced rates available for weekend work and overtime

⚠️ Please note: Holidays are not permitted during peak business periods (for example, December)

Skills & Experience:

✔️ Previous customer service, customer support, or logistics administration experience

✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills ️✍️

✔️ Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues

✔️ Ability to handle complaints and challenging situations professionally and calmly

✔️ Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail

✔️ Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

✔️ Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

✔️ Able to work independently and as part of a team

✔️ Professional attitude with a commitment to following company procedures and standards ⭐
