Summary
A reliable and experienced Nanny Housekeeper is needed by a family in Archway, North London to care for their teenage son and help maintain the family home. The ideal candidate will be warm, organised, proactive, and confident supporting a teenager who will be homeschooled from September. The candidate should also be comfortable cooking for the family and involving the son in cooking activities.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 1 pm or 2 pm, with either 25 or 30 hours per week.
Duties include:
ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
keeping the child's bedroom and living areas clean, organised, and tidy
engaging the child in suitable activities and educational tasks
supporting the child's educational development and homeschooling routine
maintaining consistent daily routines
preparing meals for the family
cooking together with the child
maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the family home
sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
washing, drying, folding, and organising clothes and linens
managing laundry, ironing, and folding
making beds and changing bed linens
loading and unloading the dishwasher
keeping the home neat, organised, and presentable
caring for the family's cat
