As a Support Worker, you'll support people to live independently in their own homes and within the community, providing person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and wellbeing.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same. Your role may include:
Supporting people with everyday living activities.
Encouraging independence and building confidence.
Providing companionship and emotional support.
Assisting with personal care where required.
Supporting with meal preparation and nutrition.
Administering or assisting with medication following training and company procedures.
Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping.
Supporting people to attend appointments and take part in community activities.
Keeping accurate records and working closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
