Summary

To be a Specialist Occupational Therapist within a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, advice and treatment to clients referred to the Bedfordshire Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service and the BLMK Post COVID Fatigue Service. To work with clients towards rehabilitation, self-management, increased independence and a better quality of life. To work as part of a multi professional service, working with patients to support self-management and independence throughout the continuum of care, to improve their outcomes. To hold responsibility for own caseload under supervision and to provide specialist consultation and education to community colleagues in the field of fatigue management. Vocational OT experience would be welcome. To work as an autonomous professional according to the Health Professions Councils regulations. However the post holder will have the opportunity to receive supervision and support from experienced and specialist clinicians to grow your own knowledge and expertise.
