This is an opportunity to lead a respected community care service across the South Lakes area while helping shape its future growth.

Meridian Business Support is recruiting on behalf of our client for a CQC Registered Manager to oversee a high-quality home care service based in Kendal.

The role As CQC Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a domiciliary care service that provides person-centred support to adults living independently in their own homes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care services

- Leading, developing and supporting a dedicated care team

- Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation

- Creating and reviewing care plans, risk assessments and care documentation

- Managing audits, inspections and reporting requirements

- Supporting service growth while maintaining high standards of care

- Training, mentoring and developing future leaders within the business

- Participating in a shared on-call rota and providing hands-on support when required

This CQC Registered Manager position offers significant autonomy alongside the support of an established leadership team and robust operational systems.

Skills and experience required to be considered for this CQC Registered Manager role, you will need:

- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care, home care or community care services

- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, care compliance and safeguarding procedures

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards achieving it

- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance and drive service quality

- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills

- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
