Summary

In this role, you will provide high-quality psychological care within a busy Community Mental Health Team, supporting adults experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Working under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist, you will apply your training to deliver low- to moderate-intensity psychological interventions, ensuring all care is evidence-based and tailored to individual needs. You will be responsible for carrying out structured clinical assessments, developing psychological formulations, and delivering interventions that promote recovery and improve wellbeing. You'll build strong therapeutic relationships with service users, enabling them to actively engage in their care and achieve meaningful outcomes. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists, contributing psychological insights to inform holistic care planning. You'll also play a role in managing clinical risk, ensuring safe and effective care delivery at all times. You'll be expected to maintain high standards of record-keeping, adhere to professional and ethical guidelines, and actively engage in supervision and continuous professional development.
