Summary

The Position We require a motivated individual to join our small specialist team. We need someone who: Displays leadership, vision, strategic thinking and planning with highly developed political skills. A self-starter keen to make a difference, quickly able to build relationships and capable of working within a complex landscape. Has broad construction and commercial knowledge and experience with a track record of delivery. Able to quickly distil information and data and identify key points and communicate this effectively. Is a team player also experienced in leading and developing a team. Values diversity and difference; operates with integrity and openness. Is proficient and experienced with NEC contracts. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference across the NHS at a national level. Post location is flexible however it will require travel as and when required across England to support Regional and National Teams as well as NHS Trusts undertaking Capital Investment Projects. Important: Please be aware there are residency requirements you need to meet: All NHS EnglandHead of Constructionpersonnel must hold SC level as a minimum. To meet National Security Vetting requirements, SC clearances require 5 years continuous UK residency. In certain cases, this can be reduced to three years continuous UK residency, with additional overseas checks for the previous two years. Candidates who were posted abroad for service with HM Government, Armed Forces or within a UK government role - will still be considered. Please make sure you meet these requirements before applying for this role.
