We are seeking an experienced care home leader with a strong track record of managing successful nursing homes, achieving positive CQC outcomes, and delivering outstanding dementia care.

Nurse-qualified candidates (RGN or RMN) are highly desirable, although experienced non-nurse Home Managers with an excellent nursing home management background will also be considered.

About the Role

As Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and regulatory compliance of the home. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, maintain high standards of care, and ensure excellent outcomes for residents living with nursing and dementia care needs.

Key Responsibilities

Full operational management of the nursing home.

Leadership of nursing, care, hospitality, and support teams.

Delivery of exceptional nursing care and dementia care services.

Maintaining and improving CQC standards and regulatory compliance.

Occupancy management and budget oversight.

Recruitment, retention, training, and development of staff.

Building positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.

Driving continuous quality improvement and clinical excellence.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager, Home Manager, or Care Home Manager.

Proven experience managing a nursing home environment.

Strong knowledge of dementia care and elderly care services.

Experience achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.

Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Strong understanding of care home regulations and compliance.

Desirable Requirements

Active NMC Pin (RGN or RMN).

NVQ Level 5 Leadership for Health and Social Care.

Experience managing larger nursing homes and dementia care services.
