Summary

The post holder will work as part of a team of registered nurses, nursing associates, health care support workers and student nurses in delivering safe effective care to patients within the Cancer Assessment unit (CAU) working in collaboration with the medical and wider MDT teams, ensuring a high-quality service to patients. The post holder will participate in roles within the unit relevant to role as competencies are developed working in both the Cancer Assessment Unit and covering Chemotherapy Hotline Service. 

Please note there is 2 roles under this vacancy - The department is looking to recruit to a 6 months fixed term contract and a 10 months fixed term contract.

The post holder will lead the team of registered nurses, nursing associates, health care support workers and student nurses in delivering safe effective care to patients within the Cancer Assessment unit (CAU) in collaboration with the medical and wider MDT teams, ensuring a high-quality service to patients. The post holder will have overall responsibility for the Chemotherapy Hotline service ensuring it is adequately resourced, and audit of the service provided.
