The purpose of the role: Working closely with the CEO & Principal, Executive Director Finance, HR & Development and the College Management Team to develop a Human Resources Strategy for the College which will include the development of its strategic direction, reflecting the College’s values and principles, championing a customer focussed set of business processes and the full provision of a high quality, professional advice service. This will include leadership of workforce planning, organisational development, employee engagement, leadership capability and the development of a positive and inclusive organisational culture to ensure that all areas of the College are effectively supported in achieving the College’s strategic objectives.

Advise, assist and support the CEO & Principal, Executive Director Finance, HR & Development and the College Management Team in the deployment, management and development of staff to ensure that the College meets its strategic aims and its responsibilities as an employer.

Responsible for the development and management of the College’s HR function and in implementing the HR strategy, including the policies, procedures, practices and development plans that flow from the strategy. This will include organisational development; employee relations; recruitment and selection, performance management; professional development of staff; reward and recognition and absence management

Responsible for the staff development within the College, ensuring effective provision of training and support for all staff employed by the College
