We have an opportunity for a full time Band 6 CAMHS practitionerpost in the newly established ND team south covering Tameside and Glossop and Stockport
One of our priorities is supporting our team with their continued professional development. As such, we offer flexibility to ensure skills and knowledge are offered and expanded in many areas of our service.
• To support the neurodevelopmental assessment pathways, completing assessments with young people and their families and contributing to MDT discussions and decision making.
• To ensure high quality assessment of children and families referred to the service.
• To provide advice and support to families about appropriate support strategies and signpost as appropriate to relevant external agencies.
• To identify and develop strategies to manage risk to the child and others in line with Pennine care and CAMHS procedures and protocols.
• To liaise closely with a wide range of agencies regarding individual care packages and to promote awareness of neurodevelopmental and child and adolescent mental health issues within these agencies.
