Location: RM18 (Tilbury / Grays / surrounding areas)

Role Summary
We’re seeking an experienced 360° Excavator Operator to join our team on construction and groundworks projects across the RM18 postcode area. You’ll operate 360 excavators (various sizes) safely and efficiently, supporting site operations, ground preparation, drainage, excavations, and general earthworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate 360° excavators safely and accurately, following site plans and marked-out levels
• Carry out excavations, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material handling
• Conduct daily pre-start machine checks; report defects, damage, or maintenance needs promptly
• Adhere strictly to site safety rules, health & safety regulations, and traffic management plans
• Work alongside banksmen/slingers and other site personnel; communicate clearly on signals and movements
• Keep work areas tidy, maintain safe ground conditions, and protect underground services
• Complete required daily/weekly logs and paperwork
Requirements
• ✅ Valid CPCS / NPORS 360 Excavator Operator card (or recognised equivalent)
• ✅ Proven experience operating 360 machines on construction/groundworks sites
• ✅ Good understanding of site safety, excavation risks, and underground service awareness
• ✅ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• ✅ Physically fit; comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• ✅ Own transport or reliable travel to RM18 locations preferred
• ✅ CIS / PAYE options available as required
