Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards

- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults efficiently

- Perform visual health checks on vehicles

- Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations

- Complete repairs and servicing within agreed timeframes

- Maintain high standards of workmanship

- Collaborate effectively within a busy workshop team

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification

- Minimum of 3 years’ practical workshop experience

- Previous main dealer experience advantageous

- MOT licence preferred but not essential for the Vehicle Technician

- Strong mechanical skills with basic diagnostic capability

- Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail

- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

- Enthusiastic team player committed to ongoing professional development
