TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Ripley that is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a positive school environment while supporting pupils through an important stage of their primary education.
The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a part-time, long-term basis, working Monday to Wednesday from September 2026 until Christmas, with the potential for the role to continue into 2027. The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining strong classroom management, with PPA time included within the role.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:

QTS, with ECTs also welcomed to apply
•
Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
•
Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and Key Stage 2 / KS2
•
Strong classroom management skills
•
Confidence with planning, assessment and delivering engaging lessons
•
A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
