TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Nottingham that is passionate about providing a high-quality education for every child. The school prides itself on creating a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop independence and achieve academic success through engaging and inclusive teaching.
The school is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Teacher will deliver creative and engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, using strong subject knowledge, scaffolding techniques and Assessment for Learning to maximise pupil progress. You will also support pupils with SEND, deliver targeted interventions and work closely with colleagues to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
The successful Teacher / KS2 will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to scaffold learning effectively
• Confidence using Assessment for Learning (AFL) to monitor and support pupil progress
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND within a mainstream setting
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
