Summary

To work autonomously in managing a caseload of patients with stable chest pain. Conduct chest pin assessments to identify patients who may be at risk of heart attack or have had a heart attack. Arrange further tests to investigate the cause of a patients chest pain, interpret the results and ensure the patient is informed of their diagnosis. Collaborate with the MDT to ensure that care is delivered timely and appropriately. Act as an educational resource to the MDT as required. Ensure compliance with professional standards of care within the chest pains service. Participate in audit and research within Cardiology to enhance patient care.
