We are looking for a
Food Service Assistant (FSA) to join our catering team at
Speke, Liverpool.
As a Food Service Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the canteen, hot plate and kitchen, helping to provide a friendly, efficient and high-quality service to customers.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard.
- Provide excellent customer service and operate the till.
- Assist with stock management and deliveries.
- Support vending and hospitality services.
- Set up and close down service areas.
- Complete cleaning duties to a high standard.
- Assist the Chef with food preparation and kitchen duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Complete all required training within the specified timescales.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus, but we’ll give you full training!
- Have a positive and friendly approach to customer service.
- Can work well as part of a team.
- Is reliable, organised and willing to learn.
- Can work effectively in a busy catering environment.
- Has good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Is willing to follow procedures and complete required training.
- Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential.
