We are recruiting for a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse for Coronary Care Unit who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. The accountability within your role is in line with the Nursing and Midwifery council (NMC) code, which says that you must work together for the safeguarding and wellbeing of the public

 Supervise, education, train and develop the workforce for whom you are responsible

 Responsible for the delivery of the standards of care delivered within your area of care.

 Act as an advocate for patients to ensure the highest levels of care are delivered.

 Safeguard the delivery of high standards of care

 Deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse/Team Leader to cover the management of the ward or clinical unit in their absence as and when required.

 In conjunction with the Sister/Charge Nurse/Team Leader provide effective clinical leadership.

 Responsible for the delivery of high standards of nursing care to all patients.

 Responsible for the clinical standards of care delivered within the service area.

 Responsible for leading and managing the ward team.

 Accountable (in the absence of the Sister) for the service areas financial budget.
