Summary
Location: Norwich Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00 (50 hours per week)
About the Role We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Reception Security Officer to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Based within a busy corporate office environment, this role combines front-of-house reception responsibilities with security duties, ensuring a positive visitor experience while maintaining high standards of safety, security, and professionalism.
Acting as the first point of contact, you will manage visitor access, support daily security operations, and work closely with the wider security team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Key Responsibilities
-Welcome visitors and manage the reception desk.
-Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service.
-Support day-to-day security operations.
-Conduct visitor, contractor, and employee ID checks.
-Issue visitor passes and manage access control procedures.
-Monitor CCTV and report incidents.
-Carry out routine panic alarm tests and respond to activations.
-Conduct security and reception checks in line with site SOPs.
Essential Requirements
-Valid SIA Licence.
-Previous experience in security, reception, or customer service.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Professional and reliable approach.
-Good IT skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
-Experience working in a Corporate Reception.
-First Aid Qualification.
