Summary

As one of the fastest-growing Colleges in the UK, Weston College is excited to be opening the brand-new Advanced Manufacturing Technical Excellence College (AMTEC) in Filton, Bristol, which will welcome its first learners in September 2026.

We are looking for a Curriulum Coordinator - IQA and Standardisation to join the team at AMTEC, working on a

full

-time basis (37 hours per week).

In this role your duties will include:

  • Providing high-quality theory and practical teaching and learning.

  • Curriculum Coordination and management of the required programmes specific to the subject areas.

  • To work as the key link between awarding boards, internal quality assurance, and External Examiners (EE).

  • Act as the IQA for designated programmes to ensure quality of work and moderation processes, in accordance to awarding bodies and external quality assurance measures.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Teaching Qualification.

    If you do not hold a Teaching Qualification, you will be expected to gain a recognised Teaching Qualification within the first three years of service, and with the assistance of the College.

  • Degree-level or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work.

  • Significant relevant professional experience relating to the discipline to be taught.

  • Relevant successful teaching experience.
