About the role
UKSV Creates is looking for a practical and organised Warehouse Technician to support the day-to-day running of our AV warehouse and help ensure equipment is prepared, checked, maintained and ready for live events.
You'll work closely with our technical and production team, taking responsibility for the movement, preparation and storage of AV equipment and supporting deliveries and collections.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with basic AV knowledge, a practical approach and a full UK driving licence. Previous AV industry or warehouse experience is advantageous, and training will be provided where required.
What you'll be doing
• Managing the movement of AV equipment in and out of the warehouse
• Preparing, testing, cleaning and packing equipment for events
• Carrying out basic equipment maintenance and PAT testing
• Identifying and reporting damaged or faulty equipment
• Checking equipment in and out and managing with stock control
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Loading and unloading cars, vans and trucks safely and efficiently
• Driving company vehicles for deliveries and collections
• Monitoring equipment requirements through the stock system and advising of any shortages requiring cross-hire
