Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for Care Assistants to join our friendly, supportive team at our Ryde care home.

OakRay Care is a family run business, specialising in the provision of residential care for the elderly. We run high-quality care homes and are committed to making a positive difference to our residents, in every way. We currently operate four care homes; three on the Isle of Wight and one in Fordingbridge, in the New Forest.
Fairhaven Care Home provides high quality residential and dementia care services for up to 21 elderly residents, and has a CQC rating of Good.
As a Care Assistant you will:
• be involved in supporting the daily activities of our residents, ensuring a person-centred approach is undertaken at all times
• assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
• have a respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and a willingness to undertake any aspects of care or non-care duties
Whether you are accompanying a resident to a dentist appointment, completing a care plan document, assisting a resident to have a shower, reading the morning newspaper to a resident, or assisting someone to have breakfast, you should do so with care and kindness.
A full induction programme and training is provided, with the opportunity to undertake further qualifications where appropriate.
A competitive salary is offered, which will be discussed at the interview. We are looking to fill full-time positions of 36 hours a week.
