Summary

I'm M, an 18-year-old wheelchair user living in Benfleet with complex learning, physical and medical needs. I am non-verbal and communicate using PECS, gestures and vocal sounds. I'm looking for a kind, patient and positive PA to support me at home and in the community, helping me build confidence, independence and enjoy new experiences.

Hours & Pay

£15.75 per hour (holiday pay included). Shifts include:

2 school mornings per week (7:00am-9:00am)

1 evening per week (approximately 2:00pm-8:00pm)

1 weekend shift per week (12 hours)

During school holidays, additional 12-hour shifts are available, including cover for other team members.

The Role

You will support me with personal care, toileting, meals, medication, tube feeding, and community activities while ensuring my health, safety and wellbeing. Full training and guidance will be provided.

Activities I Enjoy

Using my iPad, hydro sessions, miniature railways, garden swings, tactile play, favourite films, supermarket trips, escalators and lifts, and spending time outdoors.

About You

You should be reliable, patient, caring and willing to learn. Previous experience is helpful but not essential. A good sense of humour and a positive attitude are important.
