Summary

Supporting Families to Thrive Together

We are looking for a committed and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our specialist Reunification Service.

This role provides practical, direct, and intensive support to children and families as they prepare for and experience reunification. Working alongside Social Workers, you will help families build the skills, routines, and confidence needed to create safe and stable home environments.

As a Family Support Worker, you will work directly with children, parents, and carers to deliver tailored interventions that strengthen family relationships and support lasting reunification outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

Providing direct support to children and parents before, during, and after reunification.

Delivering parenting and family-based interventions.

Supporting families to establish routines, boundaries, and effective communication.

Undertaking home visits and practical support sessions.

Working closely with schools, health services, and community organisations.

Monitoring progress and contributing to reunification plans.

Helping families access community resources and support networks.

Maintaining accurate records and reporting on outcomes.
