Summary

We are looking for a motivated Planning Officer to join our planning team and play an active role in assessing a diverse range of planning applications.

You will have the opportunity to influence the future of the borough by supporting the delivery of sustainable development and high-quality places.

Managing a varied caseload, you will assess development proposals, advise applicants and consultees, negotiate amendments to secure better outcomes, and prepare clear, balanced and evidence-based recommendations.

What you need to know:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week.
