Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer with a mechanical and plumbing bias to join our dynamic facilities team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining, servicing, and ensuring the optimal performance of building services systems across our facilities. This position demands a proactive engineer with strong technical expertise in mechanical and plumbing systems, capable of diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will be directly involved in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and associated mechanical equipment, contributing to a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. Responsibilities
Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing building services including HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, and pipework.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and replacements to ensure minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire safety systems and emergency equipment in line with regulatory requirements.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical and plumbing systems within the facilities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and inventory management.
Collaborate with other facilities and engineering team members to support planned maintenance programs and upgrades.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £24.50
