Based in Isle of Wight NHS Trust | Employer: University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) NIHR South Central RRDN - Agile Research Delivery Team: The Isle of Wight provides a unique setting to deliver research across acute, community and primary care services. As part of our Agile Research Delivery Team, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of NIHR Portfolio studies, helping to ensure local people can access innovative research opportunities close to home while contributing to national improvements in health and care. Main Duties of the Job: As a Research Delivery Practitioner, you will coordinate and deliver a varied portfolio of NIHR-supported research studies across multiple clinical specialties and community settings. You'll be responsible for supporting participants throughout their research journey, ensuring studies are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance standards. Key responsibilities include: Identifying, recruiting and obtaining informed consent from participants for research studies.Delivering research interventions and conducting participant assessments, follow-up visits and data collection.Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams, researchers and partner organisations to embed research into routine care.Building relationships with local communities to improve awareness of, and access to, research opportunities, particularly for underserved populations.Maintaining accurate research documentation and ensuring compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements.Supporting service development, quality improvement initiatives and the expansion of research capability across the Isle of Wight.Contributing to the leadership and development of research delivery, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues where appropriate.Travelling across the Isle of Wight and, when required, to the mainland for regional meetings, training and collaborative research activities. This is a highly varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, adaptability and the ability to work autonomously while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. Be part of research.
