Summary
Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Ofsted) – Up to £54,000
This role offers the chance to lead a passionate team, create a nurturing environment, and ensure every child receives high-quality care in a safe and supportive setting.
As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of this Ofsted-registered children’s home. You will ensure the home is a positive, stable, and caring place where children and young people can thrive, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and leading a motivated and skilled team.
What We’re Looking For
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Registered Manager or senior leadership role within a children’s home.
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspections, safeguarding, whistleblowing, and supervision practices.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive for work purposes.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team in a children’s residential setting.
Clear enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the children’s home in line with Ofsted regulations and guidance.
Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare, and quality of care.
Lead, support, and develop staff through supervision, training, and mentoring.
Prepare for and manage inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
Foster a warm, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
Manage budgets, resources, and maintain accurate records.
Build strong partnerships with children, families, and external professionals.
